An Eric Carle Style lesson is nothing new. Yet it is a favorite of mine! This project focuses on the insects that Eric Carle has used in his many picture books. I give step by step instructions, a supply list and several tips. Along with colorful visual aides, you can't go wrong with this lesson! You can pair it with any Eric Carle insect book. If your school uses STEAM, you can easily connect it to science! An example would be teaching life cycles with The Very Hungry Caterpillar .
